This exhibition is dedicated to images of Christ and his final moments. Its contents were chosen and ordered in a way that mimics a timeline, with each painting depicting either the disrobing, crucifixion, and deposition. Apart from the differences in content, each piece has a certain style to it, owing to its era.

The first, painted on a sacristy, is painted in El Greco's mannerist style, applying vivid facial expressions to the people depicted, exaggeration of features, and warped coloring and lighting.

The second, this one an altarpiece, is a stark contrast from the previous piece in its style and tone. Jesus is seen crucified in a distorted, bent posture, blood flowing from his feet and his fingers curled in pain. The usage of color, too, is much less expressive and creates a gritty atmosphere.

The final, painted on wood panel, is a depiction of Jesus being removed from the cross. In its Early Northern Renaissance style, little attention is given to space, but rather, to character details. I believe this painting serves as a fitting conclusion to the exhibition, combining elements from the first two to form a medium between styles. The expressiveness of the first painting and the morbidness of the second render them both extremes, while the third sits at a medium.
