Summary: The King, who is getting older, gathers his daughters and let them express their love in order to decide who gets the kingdom. All of the daughters say something, but the king doesn’t realise the true meaning of what the 3rd daughter says and throws her out of the castle. Years pass and they meet again. The daughter shows him what her sentence meant. Now the daughter is getting the kingdom, but she doesn’t know if she is staying out of love or greed.

Conflict: the king doesn’t believe that his youngest daughter loves him.

Summary: A king with three daughters of age sends out his soldiers when a cruel three-headed dragon summons his kingdom. After the warriors get eaten, the king proceeds to send his daughters to convince and charm the dragon into leaving them alone. They get eaten one by one however the king still trusts that the next one will succeed. Who killed the daughters, the dragon or the king?

Characters: king, dragon, three daughters, warriors, the town habitants.

Conflict: The king continues to send his daughters with hope that they will succeed even though they get killed and eaten alive brutally.

Connection to Sinclair Family: Harris told the parents the story about the dragon and the king. When he told the story, cadence was sick and her parents were planning to send her in another country to travel. So, he told the story and advised to cancel the travel.

Cadence‘s Mindset:

Message: The fault is not only on the wrong-doer. the one who’s aware, but still keps on feeding it is almost equally to blame.

Summary: The merchant goes to a trip. Before he leaves, he asks his daughters, what do they want as gift. The youngest requests gown of silks and lace,then the middle one wants rubies and emeralds, while the eldest pleased for a rose. He makes the first two wishes come true, while forgetting the wish of the eldest one. On the way home he sees a rose bush near the fence. He cuts a red rose from there but as he does he sees a cloaked figure in front of him. The beast there says that the merchant has stolen from him and he has to give the first of his possessions he sees upon his return as a price to the rose. Since the merchant sees his eldest daughter first, he gives her to the beast. The eldest falls in love with the beasts inner beauty, mind and soul in time. But the father never excepts the beast because of his looks.

Characters: The eldest,middle and the youngest daughters;the merchant; the beast.

Conflict: The beast has never been loved by the family of the eldest daughter.

Summary:There was a king who had 3 daughters and there weere children of those. Those children, besides five of them die in a fire. The 3 princesses wept and the king suffered from madness. Yet the surviving children never forgave themselves.

Characters: King(Harris), 3 Princesses(Bess,Penny,Carrie)Cadence, Liberty, Bonnie, Taft and Will

Conflict:The antogonism of feeling guilty for someones death and trying to move on

Connection to Sinclair Family:The fairy tale is obviously a metaphor of what happened after the Liars set the island on fire. The King represents Harris and the princesses are Penny Bess and Carrie. The surviving children are exactly the same with the writen ones. Therefore this can not really be considered a fairy tale since that is what really has happened.

Cadence‘s Mindset: She feels guilty for what had happened because of her. Therefore she explains that and the consequences of her crime throughout the fairy tale.

Message: People continue to tell stories no matter how tragic the reality is.
