convenientIn the text "The Mayflower Compact" 41 pilgrim men while on sail to Virginia wrote about the government for their colony. They talked about their belief about God. They talked about how their society would be set up, and who would the leader. They decided who would be the leader by all the other people voting on who they thought would be right for the job. I know this because in the text it says "combine ourselves together into a civil body politic," and "from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the general good of the colony."

In the text "The Mayflower Compact," 41 men signed a contract agreeing that all elected leaders would be chosen fully upon majority vote. Just and equal laws, ordinances, acts, constitution and offices, from time to time, as shall be thought, most meat and covenant for the general good of the Pilgrims colony. Their colony's government has given us now ideas to vote, and have elected leaders. At the time, Bradford referred to it as "An association and agreement." the way that political beliefs effect cooperation is, if people do not have the same political beliefs, they will not agree, and they will not cooperate. The text says that they had to agree to work together under certain circumstances, and have the same beliefs. That way the colony will agree and cooperate!

In the text, "The Mayflower Compact", 41 pilgrim men aboard the Mayflower agreed on a contract on November 11, 1620, of which they named "The Mayflower Compact". This agreement led to the success of the Plymouth colony, who escaped the Church of England for they didn't agree with the religious acts that they were forced to follow by law. "The Mayflower Compact" was created so that the Plymouth colonists were free to follow the agreed religion of which they all respected but also so that they cooperated in peace and harmony, with such just and equal laws, ordinances, acts, constitutions and offices. The 41 men who signed the contract, and all others in the colony agreed to follow the same rules and regulations so that peace was withheld between themselves and God. "The Mayflower Compact" was also believed to have led not only to the success of the colony itself, but also the government system we have today.

The May Flower compact is a pledge that states that the people would vote for there leaders and to give equal power. In the text it tells us "the result was a frame work for self-government in witch the settlers agreed to form a body politic that would name leaders by majority vote," par 2 it means they created their government not to have monarchy. The text also stated " William Brewster organized a drafting of the document to describe a sort of self government under witch the settlers would agree to live and work together for mutual survive," par 1. this means that the colony will work together to survive.the text says "The Mayflower Compact, thought to be one of the forerunners of the Constitution, was signed on November 11, 1620, by 41 men aboard the Mayflower, the ship that had brought the pilgrims to America," exposition. it means that it was like the constitution for there decisions. This is why we think the may flower compact is a pledge

In "The Mayflower Compact" In 1620 November 11 41 men signed something like a constitution for their government. It explains that they have government under God, to frame equal laws, ordinances, acts, constitutions of offices. They created a smooth running government which affected the government today, because that basically created the perfect government so people kept on using it to this very day! Political beliefs created cooperation because they all believed that the government should run a specific way. It also created cooperation by them believing in God, and all agreeing on the same laws.

The political beliefs helped with cooperation by doing every thing togethrer like when they made up rules and they had a self government. They created our organization for the governor by having a Vote for the person who they like and think is the smarter person so it helped with them having a self government so then later they can have a vote so we have the best person To help us with contracts so it is a fair vote.

Also that the mayflower compact was about their pledge to god and swear to be an equal democracy instead of a monarchy ruled by king James I. This compact was for the self government of the colony of Plymouth.

The colonists created an organization and government in 1620 on November 11th. They voted on government. They voted on what to do and who would lead it. We still vote the same as back then. Their political beliefs created cooperation by voting on our government and made everyone feel better by having their own say in who is in our government. We did not start a fight.
