Dan says that the name is an anagram of a phrase known only to members of the group, which, had been approved by the entire group.
They had their first big concert when Train's vocalist fell ill just before the Bite of Las Vegas Festival 2009. Imagine Dragons was called to perform in front of a crowd of more than 26,000 people.The band released the EPs titled Imagine Dragons and Hell and Silence in 2010, then they recorded It`s Time in 2011 before signing a record contract in close collaboration with producer Alex da Kid.
