hi !! my name is sofi arevalo. in this oportunity i want to share what I do in chritmas eve with my family and friends.

1. we clean all the house and decorate all the house

2. we decorate the table with chritmas decorations like table cloth, candles, cloth napkins( specially red), gold little leaves and fancy glasses and cutlery.

3.we start doing dinner at 3 p.m. because we prepare very special food in chritmas eve and buy natilla that is kind of a caramel or vanilla jelly and buñuelos.

4. my family arrives at 7 p.m. and do something that is called novena that is kind of like a prayer for jesus.

5. we eat the food and have a really fun time
6. we open the presents at 12 a.m. and enjoy them until we get tired.
we also like to take photos before christmas and buy the presents before and if not it is to dificult to go and buy them in malls.

My family is not a big family but there are a lot of traditions.
For example:
1. In my house we eat natilla that is similiar to jelly but with flavors like caramel, coconut and the normal one.
2. We also eat buñuelos which is a kind of bread with cheese inside.
3. Before christmas day, since decenber 16th to december 24th we read the novena, wich is a kind of little bible with different prayers for eache day
4. The christmas day when its 00:00am we open the gifts and we start having food and different delicious foods. In new year's eve we have traditions like:
1. We eat twelve grapes and made a wish for each of one
2. We put wheat in the table for abundance the next year
3. We take a bag and go on a walk for the next year to have many trips during the year
4. And at last we pray for wishes we want for the next year.

Hi my name is Andrea Sofia Babilonia Mora and in my family we celebrate christamst in a diferent way, we bake some christamst cookies and sing some carol's, we decorate our cookies with a special cream and we eat a very good dinner with our favorite things like buñuelo, natilla and some arepas de huevo, this way my family and i celebrate christamst by a diferent way. We also celebrate christams by wearing fancy clothes, we love to see the christmas lights shine a lot, we all sleep early so we can stay awake for the christmas day we all enjoy celebrating cristmas toghether. bye thanks for reading. <3 =^*^=

Hi my name is Luciana Trejos Ramirez and, in this way,, I celebrate Christmas in my beautiful country Colombia. Before Christmas whit my family we decorate all the home in a Christmas, we eat buñuelos and natilla also we do some novenas, but in the 24 we saw the fireworks and sometimes we put grapes on our pockets to say some wishes, the we open the gifts and play whit them or if is some cloths we put it, in conclusion we eat so much.

Hello mi name is Edgar Santiago Cardozo Quesada From Colombia saying hi to you and going to tell you about the tradition s we have here in Colombia especially mine during Christmas/New year (In English), The first thing we do is I and mi family come to my aunt’s house and we wait for the rest members of the family come to that house and then what we do is that m I dad (Dressed as Santa Claus) We check the present´s that we gave to each other as we finish doing that my aunt and my mon prepare some food like: Turkey, Brown rice and with, pork, salad with pineapple, and some desert and we eat really good then we just talk and past the time and we finish and go to sleep then in new years what we do is we meet in a place we call ¨Melgar¨ and we just go and satay for like a month and then we wait for new years and we have grapes with wine and some of my aunt´s friends comer and we pass the time seeing fireworks asnd thats it hope you enjoyed that adn helpuf for you.

Hey my name is Paula, and I will share my christmas traditions.
- The novenas start the 16th of December and end in the 24rd of December, what we do in the novenas is to share some time with you family or friends or neighbors, we eat Buñuelos, Natilla, hot chocolate, Wine cake and Panettone, and finally we read the novena all together. My family celebrate Christmas all together, we usually go on a travel all together, we prepared all the food for the night and we open the presents at 12 o clock, after we opened all the presents we go to sleep.I celebrate new year also with my family, first we eat turkey that my grandma cooked, then we eat 12 grapes and we make 12 wishes, finally we wait till 12 o clock and we hug and wish each others a new year.

I dont really know how other families, but in my case my whole family meets, we dance and sing, we play board games we celebrate we toast, we invite the neighbors, we buy all kinds of candy, we eat buñuelos and natilla,My grandmother usually gives us money that she has saved in the year and we bet it on games or we distribute it among all, depending on who has behaved better with her during the year, that is in fact the reason that we are all nice to her.

Hi, my name is Celeste and i live in Bogotá Colombia.And I'm going to tell you how I celebrate Christmas, my family and I play a secret friend, we only call him "secret santa", each one buys a gift for each member of the family but for the person who touches 2 gifts, normaly my cousins and my uncle come, we never have a specific meal, we can make Mexican food, the traditional Christmas or whatever we come up with a year before to plan everything. I usually make dessert for dinner. and finally we open the gifts by the fireplace at 12 am or 11 pm.
