Beyoncé is a great example of feminist praxis when looking at her evolution over the past five years. The article attached talks a lot about Yoncé’s feminist ideals and current progressive views. However, in 2013 Beyoncé was much shyer when it came to feminism. She said “I think I am a feminist, in a way. It's not something I consciously decided I was going to be…”. At this time, she wasn’t really practicing feminism and living it daily. Now, in 2018 she is a feminist icon, standing up for women of color everywhere and giving inspiration.

The SNL skit is a humorous look at feminist praxis and how these guys are pretending to be feminists just to get a woman interested. Marching, wearing feminist clothing, and acting like a feminist are not enough to be an actual feminist. Being respectful, listening, and striving to be a better feminist every day are what these men should have been doing in the video (if they didn’t want to be hilarious)

These examples show and challenge the idea of feminist praxis. Constantly learning and striving to be better feminists should be a cornerstone of our society.
