The Yuan dynasty made mixes of traditional Chinese culture, Mongol customs, and foreign influences, leading to a revitalization in areas like art, literature, and science. This blend of cultures continued until the fall of the Yuan dynasty and the rise of the Ming dynasty.</p>]]></description>

They also made a lot of new changes to the overall structure the Chinese had including changing the civil service exam, changing the governmental institutions, and created a new hierarchal system. The Mongols strengthened imperial authority and created a legacy in the increased imperial power. As well they weakened Confucian beliefs.</p>]]></description>
