  • The frequency rate of breast cancer is found to be higher in white women than that of black women. White women can also have a lower survival rate for every stage if diagnosed. 
  • These findings could be from the imbalance in screenings and background education on the disease. It could also be due to limited access to healthcare.

  • For Healthcare workers, they should consider doing increased screening on special

    BRCA1 or BRCA2 genetic mutation might benefit more since they are a part of the higher risk 
    population.
