ACT score < 16 = bottom 25
21 = right in the middle! (average score)
24+ = top 25%
29+ = top 10%
31+ = top 5%
35+ = top 1% of test-takers

how is this test scored?

each test is graded on a 1-36, with 36 being the highest. The scores from each test are averaged and the average of the four tests is your final score.

why is this test administered?

to test if the student is prepared for college. It also sends the information to colleges allowing them to give scholarships and pursue high performing students.
