         <description><![CDATA[<div>In this class, we are speaking extemporaneously. This means that you should not sound rehearsed. However, the only way to speak successfully is to rehearse/practice. Does this seem like a contradiction? Try this method:&nbsp;</div><ul><li>Start by giving your speech to yourself in the mirror several times (check your gestures and movement)</li><li>Next, give your speech to a friend, a family member, or a SPEAK tutor (anyone who can give you feedback)</li><li>Repeat this process until you can get through your speech with minimal mistakes. You will give a slightly different speech each time. That is OK!&nbsp; Practice until you are as comfortable as possible.</li></ul>]]></description>
