If you feel that you are in need of food parcels, then, in the first instance, please contact Mrs Ainscough or Miss Wood in

We would also like to remind parents and carers that any bikes or scooters brought onto school grounds are done so at your own risk. Bikes and scooters left on school property are not the responsibility of the school and we cannot accept liability for loss or damage.

This week has been a short one in school following the bank holiday but it has been wonderful to see how well the children have settled back into their routines. After a long weekend, they have returned with a fantastic attitude to learning, showing enthusiasm, resilience and a real readiness to do their best – I am incredibly proud of them all.

As we look ahead to next week, our Year 6 children have a very important time ahead as they take part in their end of Key Stage 2 assessments. This is a moment for them to show everything they have worked so hard to achieve over their primary school journey. We are so proud of their efforts and will be doing everything we can to support them, encouraging them to approach the week with confidence and calm.

We also have lots to look forward to across school, with a number of exciting trips coming up to enrich and support our curriculum. These experiences are such an important part of learning and offer wonderful opportunities for the children to deepen their understanding and make lasting memories.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. There is so much to be proud of and plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead.

Across the school, the children have been busy learning about the importance of VE Day, understanding why it is remembered and why it still matters today. Classes took part in a range of thoughtful and creative activities to celebrate the day, including learning about life during the war, exploring themes of peace and resilience and creating art and written work inspired by the era 🎨✏️

VE Day marks the end of the Second World War in Europe and is a time to remember, reflect and say thank you to those who served and sacrificed for our freedom. The children approached the day with maturity, curiosity and respect and we are incredibly proud of them ❤️

A huge thank you to Mrs Burton for such a memorable performance and to our staff for making the day so special. It has been a lovely way to come together as a school community to honour this important moment in history🌟
