         <description><![CDATA[<div>These factors determine the extent to which a government may influence the economy or a certain industry. For example, a government may impose a new tax or duty due and business structures may need to change.<br>From 2022 British Visitors will need to register online and pay in advance for an 'Etias' Visa (approximately £7 for a 3-year permit).<br>Length of stay will be affected for holiday makers and business travellers to stay in the EU for longer than 90 days. If tourists want to stop longer than 90 days they will need a visa.&nbsp;<br>Holidays will be more expensive. (Mobile roaming, visa and insurance.)<br>UK tourists will no longer be able to use EU-fast track passport control and customs lanes. Immigration procedures will take longer. <br><br><br></div>]]></description>

For instance, an increase in the inflation rate would mean that the prices of products or services might have to increase.&nbsp;<br>TUI reported 2.7bn loss.&nbsp;<br>91% of holidays in July &amp; August 2020 were changed or cancelled due to the pandemic.&nbsp;<br>Job losses- British Airways cut up to 1200 jobs due to the collapse in business because of the pandemic.&nbsp;<br>Countries have imposed quarantines, entry bans to the most affected countries. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Demographic, behavioural and attitudes need to be considered.<br>Tourists want to experience something different- introduction to specialist holidays (holidays based on individual hobbies and interests). Eg, Dark Tourism.&nbsp;<br>Younger people are staying at home for longer meaning they have more disposable income and can spend it on holidays.&nbsp;<br>People are booking more city breaks and long weekends, travel companies are needing to adapt to these trends to ensure they stay competitive.&nbsp;<br>Package holidays have been popular since 1950s post war. Most people have been on the typical 1-2 week beach holiday and want to try something different. </div>]]></description>

Travel companies who follow will be seen in good light.&nbsp;<br>Ethical sourcing covers the way in which products are produced, including the whole supply chain and ensuring that workers involved are treated and paid fairly.&nbsp;<br>There is increasing pressure on travel organisations to become for environmentally responsible. Tourists are also more environmentally aware and will choose to book with companies that are playing their part for the environment. </div>]]></description>
