The motivation behind my participation in civil society: My vision is to create meaningful connections and opportunities for cultural dialogues because meeting people and engaging in dialogues has enriched me and allowed me to grow and become a better person. I believe that engaging in dialogues can ignite collaborations and solve problems that would not be possible to do as an individual.

HOROVOD is an organization that provides an opportunity for creative and enthusiastic people to give back to their community in Slovakia using their talents. The team of young people that make up HOROVOD regularly organize poetry evenings, concerts, movie screenings and fairs - all aimed at showing the power of art for self-expression and change, as well as building a bridge of mutual understanding between the Slovaks and foreigners living in Slovakia.

HOROVOD is first and foremost a charitable organization and regularly makes donations to people in need in Ukraine. What inspired me join the group that has built YDF is the gameification and playfulness with which the acute issue of youth social disengagement is handled.

Besides art and civil engagement I'm also interested in Languages, Geography, Sociology and History.

My name is Enara Könözsyová. I’m a law student at Law Faculty, University of Trnava.

Since 2022, I’ve been an active member of European Law Student’s Association (ELSA), specifically in ELSA Trnava and now ELSA Slovak Republic. It’s a non-profit organisation, made of law students, who want to do something more. ELSA mostly focuses on organising events for law students, where they can learn something new 🤓 (especially human rights), explore different cultures, develop professionaly or simoly just have fun 🕺.

I am the Ambassador of the Conference on the Future of Europe:

I worked in the Health Panel, where I was subsequently selected as an Ambassador and spokesperson. I flew to every plenary session in Strasbourg.

I focused on topics such as participatory democracy, health, and civic participation.

I spoke on issues like free healthcare and dentists.

My involvement focused on shaping policies and recommendations related to public health, with a particular emphasis on mental health and access to healthcare across Europe. I also contributed to discussions about the creation of a European Health Union, which would address disparities in healthcare standards and access across EU countries. The goal was to enhance the resilience, accessibility, and equity of healthcare systems in member states.

As the spokesperson for the Health Working Group, I delivered the closing remarks, emphasizing the need to address health challenges in Europe, including the resilience of healthcare systems, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

My working group was led by Maroš Šefčovič, who at that time was the Vice-President of the European Commission, with whom I presented our working group’s findings at the plenary session.

After that, I had the opportunity to meet with the French President, Macron.

The conference resulted in the creation of 49 proposals aimed at shaping the future of Europe, covering topics such as digital transformation, environmental sustainability, and public health.
