The most important characteristics of neoclassical sculptures are: 
-Most of the neoclassical sculptures were created directly in white marble.
-The surfaces are highly polished and homogeneous
- They take the Greco-Roman examples. Elegance and serenity prevail, expressions and feelings are moderated. They are usually austere and cold. The poses are correct and measurements
-Renaissance sculpture was full of life, since they considered the classical as an insurmountable ideal that had to be copied to the letter
-They have a great presence, but far from sensuality. They are usually young and beautiful nudes based on the ideals of balance and proportion.
