Nature and cultural citizenship walks...

gamzeotek — 2025-04-13 05:57:44 UTC

Nature and cultural citizenship walks By planning nature walks on a specific route, we can enable students to explore the environment. This is a good way for both physical activity and interaction with nature. Talking about the culture of the place and the ecosystem, understanding the balance of nature.

Students of Primary School of Kastro Ileias in Greece take part in volunteering beach cleaning every year. The municipality of Ileia organises volunteering work on beach cleaning and litter picking up. Since we live along a coastal area, students and their parents participate in volunteering activities that foster educational practises on raising public awareness about environmental protection. Those enviromental initiatives make primary school students experience offering for the community. Public school promotes volunteering practises and often organises volunteering cleaning up during school trips.

Nature and Cultural Citizenship Walk: Microreservation of Constanta

2025-05-06 15:50:28 UTC

Within the Constanţa Natural Sciences Museum Complex, since 1985 a Micro-Reserve has been open to the public, covering an area of approximately 12 ha, of which 2 ha are bodies of water with marsh vegetation. This facility was created with the idea of offering visitors a more complex image of the Dobrogea nature.
The heritage of this facility includes aquatic avifauna (pelicans, swans, ducks and wild geese), terrestrial avifauna (peacocks, pheasants) and mammals (mouflons, fallow deer, roe deer), which are found in the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve and the Negureni Reserve. Most of these specimens are natural monuments and rare species with an increasingly reduced representation in natural biotopes.
Some specimens were obtained through exchanges with other Zoos and others were purchased or donated.
