It is about how a boy’s grandfather would tell him these stories as a kid, the stories were about this bird who took care of very peculiar children such as the one pictured on the cover. As he grew up he learned that these stories were impossible and could not possibly be true. However after his grandfather tragically dies, he starts to wonder...maybe they are true?
