One time when I was in a drive through, someone in front of us paid for our meal. My mother then continued the ripple and paid for the people behind us. I have never forgotten this and it reminds me perfectly of this video. My mother has also done something like this for a family in front of us at target when a child wanted a toy but they could not afford it. She has taught me what it is like to be selfless just like this video. A different way I could improve someone's day is maybe if they don't have the time or physically cannot do it, I could go to their house and help them with yard work or something along those lines.

WOAH IT'S THE SAME DUDE! That's crazy! Well, in response to the question, I can honestly say that I've tried to do my fair share of kind gestures. For instance, I specifically remember this one time where I helped a young girl who was fishing at the Boiling Springs Lake. I noticed that this particular girl was having no luck catching fish. Given that I had already caught one, I took my fish off the stringer and put it on hers. Just the look on her face made it all worthwhile. It may seem like a simple gesture, but it's the little things that matter. Hopefully she will learn from that encounter and pass on acts of kindness to many more people to come.

The odds that the same two men would end up buying cakes for each other are very small, however I do think that the message is great. This dramatization was obviously meant to show that if you continue to pass kindness on, it will create an endless wave of kind acts. However this type of kindness requires someone to take the first step and commit the first act of kindness. I feel like this essential first step is often what is lacking in modern society and therefore, the real moral of the story should be encouraging people to take this first step into being a kind person, instead of reacting to others.

There are so many instances when people have done some small acts of kindness for me. However, I want to talk about two instances where something similar to this happened. Leo's is a cash only store, and these two college girls ordered some ice cream but did not have any cash. So, I paid for them. I will never forget how happy they were. Then, one day, a man came in right when Leo's opened at 12, and he gave me a $20 bill and said use this to pay for the next persons order. Then, the same thing kept happening until about 1pm. An elderly woman was unable to pay forward for others, which is respectable. However, she was still so grateful for what the people before her were doing. That man gave a simple $20, and changed the outcome of so many people's days. I do not remember how many customers were effected by this paying forward, but the smiles on their faces is something I will never forget.

This video definitely connected to the assembly we had earlier this week regarding how to spread kindness to others. I think it was really cool and the video illustrated how one simply act of kindness can affect someone for the rest of their life. It was really cool how in the video the random act of kindness king of came full circle for the older man. It is important to spread kindness throughout the world and it is very easy to do that. One of the simplest acts of kindness that almost anyone can do is holding the door for other people, especially if their hand are full. I know that whenever I go out to eat somewhere, I normally hold the door for not only my family, but also anyone else who is about to walk in. This seems like a very small thing but it puts a simile on other people's faces almost every time.

First that was really cool that the gentleman that bought the little boy the cake was the older man. I have never had something like that happen to me but my grandmother did. She had stopped at McDonald's to get a coffee or something and her total wasn't that much. When she got to the window to pay, the cashier told her that the gentleman in the car ahead of her paid her bill. My grandmother said that she had no idea who the person was but they made a lasting memory on her. Hopefully one day I can do something like that for someone else.

Throughout my life, I have been the witness of major acts of kindness, along with myself performing acts of kindness. I think it is so important to fill our world with as much kindness as possible, because we never know what people may be going through behind closed doors. I have witnessed my parents do something like this man did in the video, and I am always so proud to call them my parents, because their actions are so selfless. When I was little, this woman's credit card got declined at the grocery store, and my mom paid for her groceries. She told me that giving to others is one of the most important things in life, and that stuck with me. When we go through fast food lines, my dad sometimes pays for the person behind him, which a lot of people do, and I think that's so cool, because it causes a chain reaction. I've sat with people who are sitting alone in school, I've made sure new kids in my class always feel welcome, and I always make sure to be kind to others.

I see this video as both being a part of the ripple effect, but also karma. The man did something nice a long time ago and his good deed eventually circled back to him. I believe that if you spread joy and happiness throughout the world, that it will eventually come back benefit you, and hopefully others in the future. This story was as simple as buying a cake for someone, which proves that your gestures don't have to be grand for them to have an impact on someone's life.

The video was really inspiring and nice acts and words really do making big effect of people. My team is very good at being complimentary and my teammates are the first ones to point out if I am wearing a good outfit or if I did something cool. And I do the same in return. It really boosts my mood and can turn my attitude or self image for the day around. My favorite thing that we did was on our camping trip we each went in a circle and took turns complementing an individual. The best part was that nobody was showered with generic compliments, but real genuine things that people like about them. That experience still has an effect on me and how I view myself and others.

I like this video because it really is true. Sometimes people can go through the motions of every day life, and not realize that something small they do can impact someone's life. The man in line behind the family did not have to buy the cake for them, but he noticed they were in need a decided to help in a small way. There have been different people that I notice that are kind like this to others. Specifically, my mom always steps in to help anyone in need. I have learned from her kindness and hope that I can be just as caring towards others. Even if no one notices, completing one act of kindness goes a long way.

I think a small act of kindness can go a long way. By making one person's day better they will be more likely to make another person's day happy. Even it's just as simple as holding the door open, it will make someone's day just a little better. Especially if someone's having a particularly rough day, the simple act of kindness can help turn it into a good day. Also, I noticed in the video how both men did not leave their names on the paper, as it did not matter to them if they got the recognition for their kind deed. I think it's important to keep that in mind then when we do something nice, it doesn't matter if we get thanked. We are doing it for a good cause, not the recognition.

Kindness is contagious. I love the concept of this video even it if seems fairly unrealistic that the same man would receive the note from the young boy he helped so long ago. Regardless, kindness can come back to you. Even if you don't see the impact you have on others, showing compassion for others spreads joy in the world. Thank you for making us think about kindness today.

This video impressed me because it managed to introduce and use a large number of characters and create a complicated story in a matter of minutes.

Unprovoked acts of kindness are one of the best things and individual can do for society. Money to buy a cake was likely insignificant to the young man, but it meant the world to the little girl. I think we often fail to recognize how much we have to give because our idea of wealth in a particular area can be so far inflated from other people.
