1. 물체에 빛이 반사되서
2-1(무채색). 흰색·회색·검은색처럼 명도의 차이는 있으나 색상과 채도가 없는 색
2-2(유채색). 빨강·노랑·주홍 등, 색상을 가진 빛깔
3-1(명도). 색의 밝고 어두운 정도를 나타내는 말
3-2(색상).유채색으로, 색을 다른 색과 구별하는 근거가 되는 특질. 곧, 빨강·파랑·녹색 등으로 구별되는 특성
3-3(채도).빛깔의 맑고 탁한 정도. 탁한 것은 채도가 낮고, 맑은 것은 채도가 높다.
4-1(가산혼합). 빛의 삼원색으로 색을 만드는 방식을 가산혼합법이라 하는데 빛이 전혀 없을 때가 검정이고 기본 3원색에서 더하는 방식으로 색상을 만들기 때문에 가산 혼합이라고 부른다
4-2(감산혼합). 색의 3원색 사이언, 마젠타, 옐로우를 섞어 색을 만드는 방식을 말한다 CYM혼합, 색료혼합이라고도 한다
