Theme of this book is to have hope and dream even in poverty and hard times. I rate this book five stars because even though this is a fiction, the events seem so real. I also really love how descriptive, and unique this book is. 

The theme is to keep trying, and if something goes horribly, don't be afraid to start over again. As Abuelita said, "Never be afraid to start over again."
