First I made the box and decomposed 78 into 70 an 8. Then I decomposed 54 into 50 and 4. I put the numbers on the top 70 and 8 I put it in the top. On the side I put 50 an 8. I multiplied 50 and 70 and I got 3500. After that I multiplied 50 and 8, I got 400. Then I multiplied 4 and 70 and got 280, after I multiplied 4 and 8 and got 32. Then I added all the products and got 4,212.
