         <title>1066 Norman Conquest in England</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Norman conquest was an 11th century invasion. The conquest was led by William, the duke of Normady. William was  once promised the title of being king, but before his death this title was revoked from him and given to an Englishman.  William’s invasion is considered the last successful conquest of England. English culture dramatically changed after this invasion with many English land owners being replaced with Norman landowners. He changed the church elite from Anglo Saxons to his Norman supporters.  English was also influenced by the introduction of the French Language.</div>]]></description>

These blocks were used as textiles, and as ordered by the Sui emperor, these textiles were used to print Buddhist texts.
