He was influenced by its subversion and incorporated its elements like plaid and a mixted matched aesthetic into his own designs, often with a futurist twist. His approach fused the grunge ethos of deconstruction and a rebellious, anti-fashion feel with high fashion, dramatic silhouettes, and intricate, innovative techniques. The hair and makeup often mirrored this by using extremes, such as very clean, tightly controlled styles alongside messy or deconstructed elements.

She was inspired the grunge look through a blend of her punk aesthetic, which embraced deconstruction and anti-fashion, with historical and feminine

Westwood's own hairstyles, from the spiky blond hair of her early punk days to the dishevelled looks she wore later, reflected a rebellious attitude. Grunge hair often had a similar "anti-style" aesthetic, featuring unkempt textures and styles that seemed to be the result of an afterthought. 

How they inspired my grunge look

I was inspired by their grunge hairstyles through their shared use of artful unconventional aesthetics and sometimes messy styling.

Culture: African

Glastonbury:This hair style was undone braids, loose waves and casual ponytails.

Culture:(bohemian movement)can be traced back to the more ancient cultures of Africa, Europe, and North America.

Catherine princess of wales:

Her bridal look was half up half down style with soft waves. Catherine has sometimes paid tribute to specific occasions through her hairstyles such as as creating a look resembling the triquetra for st. Patrick’s day.

Greek:

Greek traditional bridal hairstyles often feature elaborate updos, braids, and loose curls, frequently accessorised with laurel wreathes, golden bands, or floral headpieces.

Braids can be integrated into buns, or worn as a half up , half down style creating a goddess look.
