Based on our Student Health Advisory Committee and Board Approval, we will be using Play it Safe for our K-2nd grade lessons. 

Based on our Student Health Advisory Committee and Board Approval, we will be using Fight Child Abuse for our 3rd-5th grade lessons.

Your child will need to opt in to receive the Anti-Victimization lesson.  The opt in/opt out form was completed in the enrollment paperwork during the 25-26 Prosper ISD Student Registration Process.  All students with an opt out will not receive the lesson.

This lesson was requested by the 5th grade teaching team in response to a pattern they have been noticing among students.

The goal of the lesson is to address the growing practice of “roasting” and to help students better understand the difference between friendly banter and comments that can be genuinely hurtful or unkind.

Mrs. Miller will guide students in discussing how words impact others, how intent and impact can differ, and how to communicate respectfully with peers.

During the week of Jan. 5-10, Mrs. Loftin's homeroom class received an extra guidance lesson on "Developing a Problem-Solving Mindset", as requested by their 4th grade teacher. The goal of this lesson is to address the common student practice developing strategies to try before asking someone for help.

Cornerstone Back-to-School Bash Application

To qualify, you must:

• Be the legal guardian with custody of the child(ren)

• Have a financial need for assistance

• Complete a qualification interview (you will be contacted by email to schedule) 

During your application, be prepared to upload:

• Proofs of guardianship - a screenshot of your child’s school account (Skyward, etc.) showing you are the guardian

• Proof of eligibility - a copy of your approval letter for free and reduced lunch program
