General Thomas Gage wanted to destroy these supplies but the it was at day so he didn't wanted to get seen by destroying these supplies 

The colonist had word that General was going to destroy these supplies and the colonist had a game plan to turn on the lights to signal William Dawes  and they told the minutemen were standing there waiting for the british and the british told them leave and a random shot went off and the farmers shot at the british and the farmers lost

The british went over the hill and saw tons of patriots and they started firing and the patriots killed 250 british and the colonist took a huge victory against the british
