Photosynthesis is important to all life because of the oxygen it produces.
We need oxygen to survive. we need it for plants to grow and strive. this way animals and humans can use them as a source of food.

Photosynthesis produces oxygen which the plants use as well as the animals, the animals breathe in the oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide that the plants need to start the process again.
