I independently researched several topics, including the establishment and verification of a scientific model on the cooking time of hotpot meatballs; an analysis of bubble tea addiction; the Chinese history of physics, the history of Chinese State-owned Economy, China’s scientific development and Chinese culture and its traditional festivals.

As the chief organizer, I assigned the team different tasks like video production, social media publicity, speaker coaching and interviewing, and sponsorship seeking to create our event. We invited 7 visionary speakers from various fields, including medical workers who cared for hospitalized COVID-19 patients in Wuhan, psychologists explaining pandemic related psychological principles, and scholars addressing how the post-pandemic era would be shaped. We chose articles that featured both cutting-edge scientific developments and real-life science applications, from topics like COVID-19-Vaccine R&D, blackholes, the science and discoveries of Nobel Prize Laureates, air pollution, to the science of air conditioning, techniques for extending battery life, and the science behind the design of potato chip shape.
