Hello! My name is Natalia Grushko. I am a teacher from Ukraine. I live in a beautiful town called Zalishchyky that is washed by the Dnister River. From the right bank of the river the town looks like a peninsula.
I have been teaching Maths and Computer Science at gymnasium for 22 years. I have taken part in pedagogical skills contests. I prepare students for competitions. Also, we write research papers together. We are actively engaged in project activities. I am happy to have such a wonderful profession.

I have some hobbies. I like traveling very much because, as for me, it is great to meet new people from other countries and learn something about their culture and customs. Travel opens me up to brand new experiences. Also, I enjoy cooking and taking pictures. In addition, I really like solving logical tasks, mathematical puzzles and sophisms.

the purpose of the project is to create a website devoted to solving real problems of society. Students should collect data describing a specific problem and put them on an interactive map - http://mapyourworld.org. By posting information on the map, children will be able to see what other students in other countries of the world have similar issues, communicate with them, and work together to develop solutions. With the help of brainstorming, students formulate a problem in the environment that disturbs them. For example, students study how we spend water, pollution of rivers, uncontrolled use of fresh water, etc.

All the project’s activities are based on collaboration among schools from different countries in Europe, families, local authorities, public bodies, associations and firms in the schools’ regions. As a result, several actions that support local and regional development are carried out as part of this project. Moreover, priority is given to those activities that support inclusion, as some of the institutes of the partnership are specialized in dealing with learning disabilities and all the schools count among their pupils a certain number of immigrants and pupils from disadvantaged economic, social or cultural backgrounds.

Thanks to this project, the participating school pupils are active in promoting actions and activities related to the preservation of the environment and starting to behave as active citizens, who will be the hope of tomorrow.
