Interned here over the course of my senior year in high school and learned a lot from what is considered one of the best law firms in Tallahassee. I worked directly with Mr. Fasig and learned a lot from about not only law but also life.

Inspire me everyday

Have met a lot of people over the yers and ever the course of high school I began to start hanging out with people that were smarter than me. This inspired me to stay on top of my grades and keep up with them as to not fall behind which eventually, looking back on it, became one of the best choices I ever made.

Favorite Teacher

In junior/senior year of high school I had this history teacher whom every day greatly inspired me to be the best person I could be. She was so cool and awesome and it was always a highlight of the day to talk to her and I had no idea if she genuinely liked me as a student or not so because of that I started working on making the best choices that I could and being a good student. In the end, she gave me a life times worth of help and advice over those two years and stands as one of the most important/impactful people on my life.

Art History Class

In my sophomore year of high school I took an art history class and looking back on it, it was the greatest and most impactful class I took in high school.

London/ Paris Trip

Did not realize the brilliance of the class until nearly a year after the class ended where during spring break of 2023 my family and some friends ventured to London and Paris. Here I was able to see some of the artworks that we looked at in the class and I gained an even greater appreciation for them. Specifically I remember running across the Lourve 20 minutes until close to try and find an Ancient Egyptian seated scribe. Originally while learning about it I did not care for it, but as I have reflected on it it has become one of my favorite pieces of ancient Egyptian art.

Italy Trip

For spring break this year we went to Rome, Florence, and the Amalfi coast. It was on this trip that I really connected with the art as I got to see some of the most historic pieces of all time such as the Creation of Adam, The Last Judgment, and The Birth of Venus, but I also got to see some personal favorites that I have been very drawn to over the years including Judith Beheading Holofernes and Caravaggio's St. Francis in Prayer. The whole time I was thinking about that art history class and boring all my friends about random facts about the paintings that I learned in the class. It has been through these two trips and the art history class where my love for artworks has exploded, every now and then I will randomly watch a YouTube video explaining an interesting piece of art I have come across.

Film

Beginnings

I think it was during Covid or something that I really started to get into film and spend much of my free time watching it. Started off pretty simple, but eventually I began watching foreign films and in 2022 I watch nearly 650 films.

Perception

With all these films it began to change my perception on a lot of different things. It was all these different stories being told that made me think of life differently and began to inspire me and eventually when I started to get a lot busier in senior year of high school I had less time to watch so many movies. In that I began to truly appreciate the films I watch and started to think about them more and their production value. They started to feel more special to me because of the fact that I was only able to watch about three a week at this point.

Seminar class

In my sophomore year of high school I took this Seminar class and had no idea what to expect from it. It turned out to be one of the most foundational and important classes I took at Lincoln. The class was made up of four projects. Two practice ones and two ones that were being considered for the AP score at the end of the year. The projects consisted of two individual presentations and two group presentations. It was in this that I discovered my love of writing and research which eventually led me to considering law as a career choice and it was there I started to be more open and confident. I started openly sharing my opinion and actually talking in class which I had never done up until that point. It was that class that fundamentally changed my high school career and helped me make so many new friends and more importantly become a better writer.
