His husband was depicated with a sword because of gave burial to the martyrs of the persecution of Turco Almaquio.He was denounced because of the chrime comited together with his brother Tiburcio who was further christian together with him, Cecily was further denounced and condenated to be throwed into the fire in the terms of her own house but she survived.

 It is also written that while the musicians played at her wedding, she 'sang in her heart to the Lord'.  Her feast is celebrated on November 22nd.
