The following has been posted to the Learning Portal. The laptop trolley keys are in my office on the bookshelf by the coffee machine.

1. In pairs or groups of three, read the information about the 7 wonders of the world and complete the question sheet given in class and the word search.

2. Here are some sources to help you:

3. Individually: Choose one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. Imagine that it still exists (please do NOT do the Pyramids of Giza) and create a brochure advertising the site to prospective tourists.  Include interesting facts, maps and images to encourage tourists to visit.  You can make it using the brochure template in the classroom on the back shelf or design one yourself on paper.

EXTENSION: UNESCO is making a new Seven Wonders of the World - pick 7 things to put on it… they can be ancient, modern, physical, cultural or edible.

You will have the lesson on Monday 9th Dec to complete this task.
