What is Enrichment? Enrichment is extra learning opportunities that go beyond the standard classroom experience. It includes sports, clubs, summer camps, volunteering, internships, workshops, and more! We will post these opportunities here. Sometimes you will need to apply. Some of the opportunities are FREE, other times they may cost money. We try to post opportunities that are local, low cost or free, and are designed to enhance your High School experience.

The Harrisonburg Fire Department (HFD) and Rockingham County Fire Rescue (RCFR) are excited to announce their seventh annual girl’s summer day camp, “Camp L.I.T.,” which stands for Leadership, Integrity, and Trailblazer. Camp L.I.T. will be held Monday, June 22nd through Friday, June 26th, 2026 (8am-5pm), and is open to girls ages 13-17, and is completely free of charge to participants. The camp will provide a unique insight into life as a first responder in hopes of encouraging young females to consider the emergency services as a career.
