There are many reasons for the high levels of HIV/AIDS that has spread in the Eastern and Southern areas of Africa with the most common being unprotected sex. 
2. Big factors that contribute in the rapid spread of the incurable virus is poverty and the lack of education and prevention. 
3. Prostitution and sex workers is another serious problem.
4. Surgical practices involving blood such as scarification, male circumcision, female genital cutting, and genital tattooing can cause the spread of the virus as well.
