Yes, I wanted to make my own business selling home made goods such as totebags and up-cycled clothing but i don't have the sewing machine or the materials. Im also scared that the business will fail and the money i put in will be wasted.

What do you want to achieve in life?
I wanna be happy with my life.

What is your dream job?
I want to be a fashion designer or stylist and work in Milan and attend fashion week as a desginer.

What do you wish to change about your current situation?
I wish that i can learn fashion design professionally and earn enough money from there to make me and sister and parents happy.

Did future income influence your choice to enter your current course of study? If yes, how much do you think you will benefit from it?
Becuase I am not sure if i can persue my dream as Singapore doesn't have the market for it, I am currently studying business which is not a bad choice for the future, maybe a better one.

How do you want to overcome this? By financial aid? Savings? If so, where do you get the information to upgrade yourself / assistance
I am on the government scheme in school. I mostly find out what i need either through my school or Google obviusly.

My family is content and happy where we are. My sister always encourages me to find ways to earn money doing what i like and im grateful for that.

No, I don't tell and show people about my finacial situation.

Yes.

I wish i studied harded in secondary school. I also wish that i took the chances i was given.

What is your opinion on how the government is handling the support for low income families?
I think they could do a better job. Most chairty are run by non profit organisation and volunteers so i hope the gov can help the people consistetenly.

Do you have any activities that you would like to do but cannot due to your financial status?for now, financial situation is getting ok unlike in the past and also my brothers r workin so there r no big burden for us to do sth.

What do you wanna do more that you like? I go to gym once a week so its 15$. So I wanna go more often than I do.

What about in the past? Of cuz, its quite bad u know like we hav dining table but we got no chairs. My dad was paid very low at that time cuz , my mom was just a housewife.

How did you guys overcome the situation? Back then, my dad he s a technician and he joined poly and graduated so his edu lvl got higher and higher so he got paid better ,also my mom started doing small businesses. And time to time, our situation improved.

is there anyone who treat you different because of ur situation inthe past?im not sure people act like that to me but my relatives sometimes came to us and showed off newer generation of their phone

what do u think you cant do now if ur current situation is like in the past?

- maybe i wont have the luxury of choosing if i go to the gym or not and i may also not be able to spend much on food and drinks that can be considered as an excess. These will be foods that i consume in order to acheive my body goals as i would need to eat quite an amount of food for it.

- i may also not have the luxury of going out with my friends even though i already seldom do, but maybe it would still be a bit tight if i do so.

what do u want ur sg gov to help for u then?

- For my case, the government has actually helped my family a lot for example my shool fees are basically paid for already which means my parents would not need to carry that burden.

- In my opinion, i dont think theres much for the government to do bacause there is only so much help they can provide.

Maybe they can reduce taxes to reduce overall price of living in singapore which is considered to be very high
