Some theories suggest they disappeared after they were outcompeted by homosapiens or mated with them. Lucy was evidence of the evolution to humans but was debunked by many other scientist, saying that some of the bones were not from the same animal and the bones came from apes instead. The man who found Lucy was anti Christ and went against the bible. Another fake evolution theory is talking on embryos and how similar they are. It was later debunked when they realized the drawings were inaccurate and fake in some cases

I think that the reason we are not able to find fossils of the still evolving apes is because of the ground they live in not being able to create fossils. The bones could also have decomposed. How fossils are formed is by volcanic stones. Similar to how the dinosaurs went extinct. The video shown to debunk Lucy was also very biased against towards the Christian faith. This leads to the video being christian biased and thus the maker of the video could have used any type of evidence to debunk Lucy. However I still think that Lucy might be an ape due to the lack of evidence.
What I learnt from today is that dont trust people that dont back up their findings.

It has been tested and the material discovered and the DNA didn’t match that of modern humans or Neanderthals. Instead, it belonged to a previously undiscovered species of early humans now called Denisovans. It was the first time a new species has been identified using ancient DNA .In 2015, scientists announced the discovery of fossils of at least 15 individuals of this species in a deep, dark chamber of the Rising Star Cave system in South Africa. Five years later and scientists still aren’t sure how they got there. There’s no evidence they were dragged there by predators or washed in by water. What they do know is that the remains are from 335,000-236,000 years ago and show a unique mix of ancient and human traits.
https://www.smithsonianmag.com/blogs/national-museum-of-natural-history/2020/04/28/these-decades-biggest-discoveries-human-evolution/

Biblical creation is based on the Bible where God created the universe and everything in it as described in Genesis (Genesis 1:1-2:3 is the specific creation week though commonly creation means Genesis 1-11). The Creator did not need matter, large amounts of time, energy, or anything else. He created out of nothing in six literal normal-length days about six thousand years ago.Biblical creation is not compatible with the belief that the world just happened through an extended, naturalistic, and chance process over many billions of years. Biblical creation upholds the Bible as God’s eyewitness account of actual creation events since God was the only one there to observe what happened at the very beginning.
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1).
“For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy” (Exodus 20:11).
https://answersingenesis.org/creation/

Creationism, the belief that the universe and the various forms of life were created by God out of nothing (ex nihilo). Although the idea of God as creator is as old as religion itself, modern creationism is largely a response to evolutionary theory, which can explain the diversity of life without recourse to the doctrine of God or any other divine power. It may also reject the big-bang model of the emergence of the universe. Mainstream scientists generally reject creationism. Creationism is largely associated with conservative branches of Protestant Christianity, though there are proponents of Jewish and Islamic creationism as well as adherents in other branches of Christianity
https://www.britannica.com/topic/creationism
This theory of special creation is also known as the theory of divine creation which was put forward by Father Suarez. The theory has no scientific reason in it. It was widely accepted until the arrival of Darwinism which is considered as the first systematic statement of Evolutionism.

According to Father Suarez, life on Earth was created in just six days. Since the beginning of time, the diversity of organisms has remained constant. According to the theory of special creation, the diversity of life forms will not change in the future (Smith and Szathmáry, 1999).
They believed that All life forms were created at the same time and are unrelated to one another. They were created in their current state,i.e. they have not undergone any changes. There has been virtually no evolution.Their bodies and organs are designed to meet the needs of the environment completely, i.e. no adaptation.
The idea was based of the book of Genesis where God created living thi gs in 6 days and Adam and Eve living in the garden of Eden.
https://anthroholic.com/theory-of-special-creation-or-divine-creation
While I believe in Christianity and the fact that God created the world, I feel that some where between the lines, there is a connection between creationism and science.

Neoevolutionis as a social theory attempts to explain the evolution of societies by drawing on Charles Darwin's evolution theory while discarding some dogmas of the previous theories of evolution. Neoevolutionism is concerned with long-term, evolutionary social change and with the regular patterns of development that may be seen in unrelated, widely separated cultures Neoevolutionary anthropological thought emerged in the 1940s, in the work of the American anthropologists Leslie A. White and Julian H. Steward and others. While Charles Darwin is commonly cited as the man who discovered evolution. After the Beagle (a dog breed) returned to England in October 1836, Darwin began reflecting on his observations and experiences, and over the next two years developed the basic outline of his groundbreaking theory of evolution through natural selection.

Evolutionary Creation: Bridging Science and Faith

Evolutionary creation, is a perspective that seeks to harmonize the scientific theory of evolution with religious beliefs, particularly within the context of Christianity. This worldview represents a delicate balance between the scientific understanding of the natural world and the deeply held faith in a divine Creator. In this essay, we will delve into the key principles and implications of evolutionary creation, exploring how it attempts to reconcile the seemingly disparate realms of science and faith.

The view of evolutionary creation, or theistic evolution, has roots that can be traced back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It emerged in response to the growing acceptance of Charles Darwin's theory of evolution and the need to reconcile this scientific understanding with religious beliefs, particularly within Christianity. In the

1. Late 19th Century: As Charles Darwin's theory of evolution gained prominence in the late 19th century, many religious thinkers and theologians began grappling with how to interpret this new scientific understanding of the natural world in the context of their faith. Some of them, such as the British theologian Frederick Temple, started to explore the idea that God could have used evolution as a means of creation.

2. Mid-20th Century: The writings of theologians like Karl Barth and Reinhold Niebuhr provided further contributions to the discussion. Barth, for example, emphasized the sovereignty of God in creation, allowing for the possibility of God using evolutionary processes.

At its core, evolutionary creation acknowledges the overwhelming body of evidence supporting the theory of evolution. This scientific theory, established through rigorous observation and experimentation, posits that life on Earth has evolved and diversified over billions of years through natural processes, including genetic variation and natural selection. From the emergence of simple single-celled organisms to the complex tapestry of life we see today, the theory of evolution offers a compelling explanation for the diversity of life on our planet.

However, evolutionary creation goes a step further by asserting that God, as the ultimate source and sustainer of the universe, is intimately involved in this evolutionary process. Proponents of this perspective argue that God's creative activity should not be confined to a moment of instant creation but rather be understood as an ongoing, purposeful unfolding of life through evolutionary mechanisms. In this view, God is not a competing explanation with evolution but rather the driving force behind it.

In conclusion, evolutionary creation represents a thoughtful attempt to reconcile the scientific theory of evolution with religious faith, particularly within the context of Christianity. It embraces the scientific understanding of the natural world while asserting that God is the ultimate author and sustainer of the universe, with evolution as a mechanism through which God's plan unfolds.

Christian or Scientist. What to do about faith and science?

I agree with both arguments to a certain degree. As a scientist, it is hard to discard tangible evidence that shows life has evolved across species. Yet, as a Christian, my life is centered on faith in God. I believe that God created life, but I believe God did it in a way that uses evolution. I believe that God created everything in six days, but that each day lasted millions of years, with different species and life forms evolving throughout that era. I believe that God structured the world so that there could be evolution. I think that species have to adapt to changing environments, and God made each species of organisms so that it could survive each change that takes place. I do not necessarily believe that human beings are the finalé; I think that we will change over the decades evolving into higher specie. I do not believe in the Big Bang Theory or that life stemmed from inorganic molecules. God started life, and then gave nature freedom to develop. If God did not like the outcome, it was destroyed by means of a natural disaster, such as the asteroid ending the life of the dinosaurs or by the Noah’s flood. If it was good, then things stayed, and life continued. This is a hard topic to take a definite stand on since faith is abstract, yet a way of life for Christians, and science is concrete. There is a need for cooperation between the two worlds though since there are Christians in science, but it takes one to look at both sides to decide on what one’s own theory is on the beginning of life and human evolution.

definition: a pseudoscientific argument for the existence of God. the theory that life, or the universe, cannot have arisen by chance and was designed and created by some intelligent entity.

timeline: theory started being prevalent in the 1920s due to fundamentalist-modernist controversy in theology which resulted in fundamentalist Christian opposition to teaching evolution and led to the origins of modern creationism. and so, until 1960s, the US schools banned the teaching of evolution. yet after evolution was added back to the curriculum, there were court cases where people attempted to demand that it be taught alongside creationism.

explanation: that the complexities exhibited within evolution is evidence of an intelligent creator, God. intelligent design suggests that e.g. molecular structures and DNA from the start were designed by an outsider entity, and that these were created rather than naturally formed. intelligent design argues that complex life forms cannot have come out by natural causes.

supporting evidence:

https://youtu.be/cEps6lzWUKksi=M9zP0h06tkGQc8Rq
https://youtu.be/z_8PPO-cAlA?si=Jg6eIhcKvntXQf5m
https://youtu.be/_5SQE0rp5gI?si=G6Pd8w2uszHZzwf_

thoughts: it makes sense and doesn’t contradict the bible. it also showcases God’s mightiness, and makes science something He created rather than something that contradicts His existence.
