3. "ill-fated lad" This is used to describe a new character.   • I like how they described the ruts and the potholes as teeth-cracking. Also the tires as being bald against the ice because they have no grip so it would be easy to slide across it.

She is badly injured and can’t really do anything on her feet so Harold has to do everything around the house like cleaning up around the house, cooking food, and also taking care of his Grandmother and her injuries. Harold was at school when he found out that his Grandmother had fallen. They called him down to the Principal’s  Office and told them and got someone to take him down to the Hospital so he could see her. He found out that she had a severe leg abrasion, and a minor and she will recover slowly head trauma. They began to ask if he had anyone else that could look after him because they are concerned that his Grandmother could fall again or is too injured to be looking after someone and that she should be put into someone else’s care so Harold could still attend school.
