Think back to the Pulsera Project video that you watched in class yesterday. Then explain how the quote on the SMARTBoard relates to what the Pulsera Project does to empower the communities in Nicaragua and Guatemala.

The statement means relating to the Pulsera project, that if you donate /teach/give something, someone will benefit, but won't have a long lasting outcome and change. If you give/teach/donate something beneficial that can last a lifetime, and is sustainable, then it can change someone's life, and maybe others. Giving is great, and should be encouraged, but teaching how to do something is more beneficial to the person because it is a resource that is never ending and sustainable.
