Blood serves as a constant reminder of the sins that Macbeth has committed and how the murder he committed had forever tainted his life. When he sees blood on his hands and on Lady Macbeth he reminded himself of the life he stole and understood that his life had now permanently changed and could not ever go back.
-karuna namala

“If chance will have me king, why, chance may crown me Without my stir” (Shakespeare 1.3.248-250). Macbeth leaves if he becomes king up to fate. When he learns he will become king, he trusts fate. Macbeth's trust in fate could lead to his downfall if his fate is not necessarily good.

The supernatural is showed here when the witches use the phrase "instruments of darkness"because they are using a none physical object in a form of a physical such as a weapon , like a supernatural item.
- axel martin

"'Sleep no more! Macbeth does murder sleep'-The innocent sleep, sleep that knits up the raveled sleave of care, the death of each day's life, sore labor bath, balm of hurt minds, great nature's second course, chief nourisher in life's feast" (2.2.36-40). Shakespeare uses the motif of sleep as a way to represent reprieve and recuperation. Through this passage and the events leading up to it, one can see that Macbeth feels a lot guilt about his actions and that is why he murdered this sleep. He can no longer feel this calming recuperation because of his heinous actions.
-Julia Leong

Weary sev' nights, nine times, Shall he dwindle, peak and pine. Though his bark cannot be lost, Yet it shall be tempest-tost. Look what I have" (1.3.18-26) In this, the witches talk to Macbeth and Banquo and telling them what had happened with the woman's husband.
"The night has been unruly. Where we lay, our chimneys were blown down...heard I' th' air, strange screams of death" (2.3.28-35). Lennox said that it was like an earthquake. The disruption of the Earth is a way to show that Duncan has died and what disruption that will cause in the future. She also mentioned that there were screams of death in the sky that night which was the same night the king had died.

Although he is aware of the fact that the three witches are immoral he continues to rely on their confirmation, which helps him reassure himself that what he is doing is just and has reason. Deep down Macbeth is most likely aware that he is sinful and bigoted but by consulting the witches he is masking that from himself in order to feel worthy.
