I chose the transdisciplinary theme of “Sharing The Planet”. This theme is unique because it goes into depth on human rights and responsibilities globally. It dives into the relationship between communities and their access to equal opportunities and peace. The key concepts for this theme could be causation, change, connection, perspective, and related concepts could be impact, transformation, relationships, rights, and values. Self-awareness and empathy can be implied because students can reflect on and get to know themselves and their role as they make connections to global situations and experiences.

I have chosen the theme of "The Mechanics of the World." With this theme, an inquiry into the world and its laws can be conducted. The interaction between human societies, the ways in which people employ their understanding of scientific principles, and the impact of scientific and technological advancements on society and the environment can be discussed. The fundamental concepts for this theme could be "form, change, connection," and related concepts could include "matter, change, property, purity-mixture, mass-volume."

I chose the transdisciplinary theme, ‘How we organise ourselves’. This theme is very interesting as students get the opportunity to explore the systems, structures, and processes that shape human societies and organisations. It fosters an understanding of how individuals, groups, and institutions work together to create order, solve problems, and address various challenges.

The key concepts that can guide the inquiry are: Form, Function, Connection, Change, Causation

Related concept: Governance, Structure, leadership, Authority, Consequence, Globalisation, Economics, Sustainability

By engaging with these key concepts and related concepts, students can explore the theme "How we organise ourselves" through a variety of lenses. They can inquire into historical and contemporary examples, analyse different organisational models, and reflect on the ethical and societal implications of how we organise ourselves as individuals and as a global community.
