It is the one thing that everyone has in common that allows us to be different.<br><br>2. The Thirteenth Amendment- which freed slaves, is perhaps one of most important amendments because opened the door for African Americans and other enslaved peoples to fight for other rights and equality.<br><br>Article V of the Constitution discusses the criteria for which Amendments  may be changed.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One proposal discussed in the article mentioned electing the President and the Vice President by Direct Vote and doing away with Electoral votes. While this method of election would have its complications, from the average American point of view it may be a good thing, because even when residents of a state vote one way, the ultimate decision is usually in the hands of the Electoral college.</div>]]></description>
