This proverb lets us know that being alone without other people cannot do anything, hence (Division is weakness.) But everyone working as a whole, together, this way, things can be achieved. Because if people work as a collective whole, the brunt, physically, or mentally, multiplies by every person who have. Take armies/defense forces, for example, there is a good reason why hundreds if not thousands of people make up armies. Without the physical/mental brunt of many people together, nothing would get accomplished. An example of this would be the battle of the five armies in the Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien, without the clans of the dwarves uniting with Thorin Oakenshield, as well as the men from lake town and the elves, the orcs would have won the battle, but when the opposers had a unified front, the managed to destroy the orc armies. This quote is true in every instance, a unified front is better than a lone front.
