         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Puritans blamed witchcraft and basically everything on the devil. They believed satan was recruiting witches and warlocks to work for him. Foreign influence about witchcraft played big role on peoples view on them. People would settle old disputes or feuds by just accusing one another of being a witch or warlock so they could take something from that person.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Betty Parris got sick and was said to have been talking about witchcraft with Tituba. Tituba was accused of witchcraft and the girls who she was "teaching" completely through her under the bus. Those girls were the starters of falsely accusing people. By the end of all of the witch trials over 200 were jailed, 19 men and women were executed. </div><div><br></div>]]></description>

John Winthrop, the person behind the concept of City upon a hill, had created it to set an example for other Christians around the world. City upon a hill Theory, that the new m a colony would be a place of complete reform or Utopia where God would be found in scripture and a strong work ethic.
