I live in Bunn, NC! I have a baby sister, Rachel, who just turned fourteen. My dad, Harry, is a staff sergeant with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and is also a pastor at Anchor Baptist Church in Louisburg, NC. We planted our church around nine years ago. My mama, Jennifer, is a kindergarten teacher at Heritage Christian Academy where I graduated from and my sister currently is a freshman. I had all plans of attending ECU back in fall 2015 and had been offered a scholarship there to play volleyball. However, ever a devastating ACL/meniscus tear and reconstructive surgery, my scholarship was withdrawn because of my probability of being injured again. Now I am here at Nash about to complete my AA degree while also working on my PTA degree! My injury seemingly ruined my plans, but the Lord worked it out for the best by leading me to the career field of my dreams, physical therapy. I work here in the English studio and as a PAL tutor for BIO 163 and 094 while also doing clinical hours at Rex hospital in the PT clinic. My favorite song changes almost every week, but my favorite movie is Breakfast at Tiffany's! I also love the sitcom The Office! My favorite vacation spot is anywhere that has water - I will be a full time beach bum one day!

As an only child, I'm very close to my parents, Bryan and Frankie. If you hear me talking about "my girls," I'm talking about my two dogs, Tofu and Dorito. I graduated from UNCG with a Bachelor's degree in English, and I'm currently deciding whether I want to teach children or adults before I start graduate school. My hobbies include knitting, crochet, and reading. My favorite food is pizza. There is no way I could narrow down just one favorite book, but my favorite I read this summer is The Girls by Emma Cline. My favorite movie is The Big Lebowski, and my favorite vacation spot (so far!) is New Orleans.

I have lived in Nashville since I was born. My parents, Allen and Annette, celebrated their 24th anniversary last month. I have one older brother named Chris. My boyfriend's name is Michael Crocker. We started dating December 13, 2013. We like to celebrate our anniversaries by going to Raleigh for a date at Kanki. It's our tradition, and we do this every anniversary. I graduated from Nash Rocky Mount Early College with my high school diploma and my Associate's of Arts in May 2013. I attended Barton College and graduated from there with a Bachelor of Social Work in May 2015. I have been working as a tutor since my senior year at Barton. I love dirt track racing. I have been attending races at County Line Raceway since I was little. I also love riding four wheelers and roller coasters. A dream of mine is to travel around the United States and visit all the amusement parks and ride every roller coaster. Another thing about me is that I'm a huge dog lover. I have a Jack Russell Terrier named Max. He's 15 years old. I had a yellow lab; unfortunately, we had to out her to sleep. Her name was Angel. If I could, I'd rescue all of the dogs in the shelter. My boyfriend and I actually rescued a dog together back in February. Our dog's name is Ryder. The rescue said he is a Chihuahua and Cocker Spaniel mix, but we honestly aren't too sure. He's only eight pounds, but he is a handful. Ryder's my baby, and I love him to pieces. I can't really pick a favorite food, song, or book. I like a lot. My favorite vacation spot is Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Hi! My name is Kevin, and I'm an NCC alumnus and former honors student; I received my Associate's in Arts degree in 2009. I did enroll in Wesleyan the ensuing fall semester, but did not finish. I call Rocky Mount home for now, but I was born in Washington, D.C., and spent my youth in the suburb of District Heights, MD; when my father died in 1994, my mom and I moved here: her hometown. She is in the nursing home now, and I pray daily for her to return to the convivial lifestyle she used to live. I draw artwork sometimes and program occasionally. I enjoy listening to EDM, especially deep house and old-school trance like ATB. I don't have a significant other, though I have gotten close with one woman in particular. I have the greatest car in the world; it was given to me earlier this year by two of my closest friends. Sometimes I feel alone and forlorn until I remember how great the God I serve is, and how all things come together for good to those that love Him :)

Hello to the esteemed English Studio Tutors! I was born on an English military base (R.A.F) in West Germany on a glorious October evening. At the tender age of 18 months I, along with my older sister and our parents, moved to England where I delighted the masses with my wit and humor until the age of 21. Sept 11th 2004, I moved to America and made North Carolina my home. My parents divorced when I was nine years old, and my Mum raised me along with my older sister, Rachel, and younger sister, Courtney. I live with my husband of four years, Craig, and our two boys, Caleb is ten and Henry is (almost) eight. We have a Puggle (pug/beagle) named Bo, a Leagle (lab/beagle) named Bea Bea, and three chickens named Lucy, Ethel, and Stella. I graduated from NCC back in may and am currently pursuing my BSW at Barton. I would like to go on to get my MSW and work in Child Welfare or the school system. I enjoy shopping, getting tattoos, and procrastinating. My favorite food is mashed potato and (my homemade) mac and cheese. My favorite movie is Dirty Dancing, my favorite song changes weekly (although I am a big fan of 80's music), and my favorite vacation spot is (VIVA) Las Vegas (Craig and I were married there). I would love to visit Eastern Europe, especially Russia. (I once tried to teach myself Russian...not easy!)

HI! I have lived in North Carolina all of my life. I have the cutest, sweetest, smartest kid you will ever come across. I am always trying to kiss his cheeks. It's a habit. Finally, it will be my turn and I get to graduate in May with my degree in Human Technology. I have been waiting on that day forever. One day, I would like to become a teacher assistant or a reading coach. My favorite movie is Anne of Green Gables. I am saving the first handout that I received in a class here at NCC. It has sentimental value to me. "Not if, but when" is the best quote that I have ever heard. My advisor told me that when we first met. I said if I graduate, and then she interrupted and said when you graduate. Those words have always stayed in my mind.

Hey y'all! I am from Nash county, and I have lived here my entire life. I attended Falls Road from kindergarten to ninth grade. I moved to Wilson Christian in tenth grade, and graduated from there. I am currently working on my last year here at NCC, and I will be attending ECU in the summer to earn my degree in elementary education. I love to play basketball and soccer, and I wish i could have played in college. I have coached a few upward soccer teams and have been able to help out with a local girls' basketball team. In addition to teaching, I hope that I will be able to coach more in the future. I still live at home with my mom, my dad, my sister, our two fluffy cats, and our sweet dog. I have been dating my boyfriend, Austin, for three years, and we spend a lot of time together. He will be graduating from NCC this May with an Automotive Technician degree. I'm super proud of him! One of my favorite things to do is to hunt and fish with my boyfriend. If we aren't hunting, we are probably practicing for whichever season is coming in next. I can also play three instruments- flute, clarinet, and piccolo. My favorite food is chicken. Nine out of ten times, I will be eating chicken when I go out to eat somewhere. My favorite place to go on vacation is the beach.
