The Catholics believes that at death, people are judged to go to either heaven, hell, or purgatory depending on how they lived. Not all Christians share this belief, but they all share the idea of eternal life. A sacrament is generally given to a severely ill people, known as the Anointing of the Sick. It is when the sick person facing death asks for forgiveness for his or her sins. If unable, the minister does it in place of him or her. The funeral differs throughout the world.
