I was the chairman of the event at one of the faculty events. It required me to be able to do public speaking because I was the one who had to lead and be responsible for the running of the event from beginning to end. In almost every meeting I lead. In addition, on the D day of the event, I was also required to give a speech to the entire committee, invited guests, and participants who attended the event. It was a good experience that really made me learn a lot. My difficulty in public speaking is that I tend to like to repeat what has been discussed so that it seems complicated. To overcome that, I practice before starting the meeting and write down what topics should be discussed later during the meeting.

The most memorable experience during public speaking was when I was in elementary and middle school. I don't know why at that age I don't think there is such a heavy burden that I can speak fluently in public. At that time I was the speaker for the Isra Mi'raj event speech at the mosque near my house, filling routine school events every Saturday morning with ceramah (class representative), give speeches as the student council president, and others. It's an unbelievable experience because I've been in that position. There were no significant obstacles, I also gave a speech with added a little joke. It's just that sometimes some of the audience looks not entertained by my jokes. My way to stay focused is to see the audience who is interested in my speech. That's what made me focus and excited to give a speech till the end.

I felt more tense because the competition was carried out online, I prefer not to. But in general, that's a great experience (eventho I didn't make it into the final round), cause I listened and learned many remarkable speech of people from different countries.

My most meaningful experience of public speaking would be my final exam of graduation from English class back in the Highschool since it was the first time I speak in public (just in front of my class actually) using English as the language.

I consider that experience a good one since I could convey the presentation accordingly.

My biggest problem with public speaking is that I often got air headed when speaking in public like I completely forgot about what am I even talking about in a blink of a second. As for now I still unable to solve these problem since I was lacking of experience in public speaking in the first place

One of my experience doing public speaking was when I joined a seminar then everyone in there must go to the front for present anything that they want. In there I doing public speaking with acted as a reporter who reported the condition in a crowded tourist attraction. This is meaningful for me because, even though I consider that my performance was still bad, but everyone praise me. The speaker of that seminar also gave me advices in a good way, so it increased my confidence.

I think the problem and challenge that I face during a public speaking was I'm afraid of how people thinks about my performance and I also very nervous that makes me sometime forgot what I want to say. So, to overcome those problems, I tried to practice more before I do public speaking and thinks that if I being confidence in the public speaking, then people will look at me in a positive way. I must do the best for this public speaking.

I have experienced being an MC at events in my village, for example, on the night of 17 August. I think this activity is good for training my public speaking skills and mentally because I am in my position to be the center of attention of the audience and also have to speak in front of many people. My obstacle in doing public speaking is sometimes suddenly blank or I don't know what to say after the previous sentence and also there are still few words to connect the two important points that will be stated. My solution is to practice alone in front of the mirror and also look for tips through youtube

One of my recent experience is that i became one of moderator in one of my friend project. in that time i have to make sure to keep everyone in the room chat to keep talking, to keep the energy, the spirit, to be alive. and it was fun as hell because i literally not doing anything formal just basically spitting every word that came up to my mind. also made a lot of new friends online worldwide, which is good.

The challange i think is that sometime, i find it difficult to make a stranger online to be active on voice chat, to be talking with you. you have to push yourself hard on the first "phase" after one of them talks and then the others will come out to. basically what im trying to say is how to give the people who listened to you get your "welcome aura" so they'll be comfrot with you. after you nailed that, i think you'll be fine.

several months ago, there was an institutional visit to another university and at that time I had to replace my chairperson to give a speech and without preparation. In this occasion I will consider as good and bad, because I have the opportunity to speak in front of many people and practice public speaking, but without preparation it is enough to make me nervous and stutter when I spoke. From this experience I learned how to be ready in every situation and try to continue to practice public speaking because it is very important.

The most meaningfull experience that I had is when i was class 1 junior high school. At that time my senior order me to take part in speech competition, then I speech in front of many people, cry and i was eliminated in the second selection. Actually I don't really know whether it was a good or bad experience. However it makes me want to learn more about public speaking (till now). After practicing several times, i dont cry anymore yet, even I don't feel nervous my body will shake/tremble and after that my hand will be cold. I don't know how to handle it but I found that after 2-4 minutes speaks in public my body and hands will be normal again. Also I got that I am more nervous when speak in front of strangers and I always try to handle it by visualizing them as vegetables.

My experience is public speaking when I was in the Indonesian language practice subject in high school. I have to make a speech in the ceremonial field which is currently in the student council organization for the direction of the August 17 competition event for my school students. Yes, even though the audience is my own school friends, but the nervousness is definitely there. I kept repeating greetings at that time.
The difficulty I face is that my voice becomes strange when I speak using the microphone.
After that I gave up speaking in public. Embarrassed.
However, when I got used to being a senior at the Paskibra extracurricular club and often mentoring my juniors at school, I was lined up to be a substitute MC, for an Ospek event for my high school students. Because the way to overcome in order to be fluent in public speaking must be confident first.
I dare myself to be the MC. Fortunately, my MC partner is my best friend and he is already used to speaking in public, so he was able to cover me who was still broken when I spoke.
The first time it doesn't necessarily work, but if you're not afraid to try and keep getting used to it, you'll be flexible over time.
