Last semester I used active learning strategies in my lessons. I will share with you one example; there was a lesson about ghaf tree and I took the students outside class to let them see real ghaf tree and we discussed together about it. This support students learning and help them to understand more about the ghaf tree.  

Using Calendar notebook:   

The calendar notebook was really good to organize my assessments and daily work. 
I used it everyday to write my notes as well and what things that I need to achieve.

Dialogue
During the previous TP, having a dialogue with the students was one of the things that worked well in developing the students’ language. In which in each lesson I tried to give the students the chance to speak and express themselves during the dialogue that is related to the topic of the lesson; as it was a practice for their speaking skills and chance to improve their vocabulary. one of the dialogue results is that students were learning from their mistakes in grammar and pronunciation and they were learning new words from each other not only me.

Micro-teaching:

In my last teaching practice I used micro-teaching many times. Whenever I use it most students and sometimes all of them pay attention with me to participate. Students like to play the role of the teacher and in that way I grabbed their attention to assess their learning. It was the most effective activity in my lessons.

Instructions:

I noticed that using only verbal instructions are not enough for students to understand what is required from them.   •  ​I have used modeling strategy for grade 2 for every lesson because it works well with them, the result of the modeling strategy shows me that the children learn and understand deeply. For example, I holds three flowers and I say full sentences. Then I asked them to say full sentences using different items in the classroom. Before I model the sentences for them some students did not raises their hands. Moreover, I demonstrate the activities’ instructions in simple way so they can understand them. Also, in demonstrating part I was using different techniques to deliver the information like, using real objects, practice by doing, and set dialogue.

    During my teaching practice in Sharjah Model School for Boys, I used this technique and it aided my students to have a better understanding of the previous lessons moreover, it helped them to memories the new vocabulary and sentences.

    Students will be motivated to do things as long as you praise them and giving them a positive feedback.

    - Communication
    Interaction with your students will build a good relationship between you and the students which will help you to know the student's ability. And it also will help you in planning your lesson plan

    - Technology
