For example, in a cowboy's daily life, there is no need for technology. A cowboy knows how and where to move their cattle just with their knowledge of the land, their animals, and their own grit! An astronaut relies on his computers and spaceship to keep him safe and alive. The cowboy can survive on his own.

This shows that cowboys are resourceful. All their knowledge is from experience and in their head.

This is important because they do not need a computer to keep them alive or to do their work. An astronaut is not able to complete his mission if his technology breaks down. A cowboy only needs himself to finish the drive. 

In conclusion, cowboys are better than astronauts because all the tools they need to do their job are in their brains.

For example, astronauts have to have several years of education, training, and even more intense training. They usually have science degrees, military service, and NASA specific training. This shows that they are highly intelligent. They have to be determined to make it this far in a career.
