God moved the hearts of tribes of Judah & Benjamin & priests to return to Jerusalem. Their neighbours provided resources

Exiles brought back articles belonging to temple back to Jerusalem

V1: The list of people of the province who returned from exile to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his own town

V2: They came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, and Baanah

V3-19: The number of men of the people of Israel recorded: According to families

V20-35: The number of men of the people of Israel recorded: According to cities

V36-42: The list includes the priests, the Levites, the singers, and the gatekeepers

V43-58: The temple servants and the descendants of Solomon’s servants are also listed

V59-63: Some people could not prove their family or ancestry as Israelites; they were unclean and had to wait without eating sacred food.

Ezra 2:68-69

Heads of the families gave freewill offerings toward the rebuilding of the house of God on its site. They gave to the treasury 61,000 drains of gold, 5,000 minas of sliver and 100 priestly garments.

Ezra 2:70

The priests, the Levites, the musicians, the gatekeepers and the temple servants settled in their own towns, along with some of the other people, and the rest of the Israelites settled in their towns.

Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came out of captivity to return to Jerusalem and Judah.

8 2:64-67 The whole assembly = 42,360 + male and female servants (7337) and they had singing folks (200), 736 horses, 245 mules, 435 camels, 6720 donkeys.

9 2:68-69 Some households offered to restore the house of God when the arrived in Jerusalem and gave to the treasury according to their ability: 61k gold drachmas, 5k silver minas and 100 priestly garments.
