Nature:
When we talk about nature, we are referring to our genetics that we have inherited from out parents. it includes genes that we are born with along side other hereditary factors such as hair and eye colour.

Nurture:
When we talk about nurture, we are refereeing to it's influence and external factors after birth, for example exposure to certain life events may effect behaviour.

Nature plays a role in human growth and development because our genes play a big part in our personalities. personalities are developed from childhood up to early adulthood. However, Nurture is how our personalities are formed, from environmental and social perspectives. For example, our personalities can revolve around who we socialise ourselves with. whether it's in a friendship way or romantic way. Depending on our personalities we may be more compatible with one type of person rather than the other.

Case study linking to Nature Vs Nurture:
Jim twins.

When the Jim Twins were born, they got separated at birth.
At 3 weeks old they got put up for adoption in 1940. Their adoptive parents coincidentally named both Twins, James, but both came to be known as Jim for short. The two Twins would grow up to find they have been only 40 miles apart from each other and go on to live a very similar life. One of the Twins was adopted by Lewises of Lima, and the other by the Springers of Piqua. Both families knew that they had adopted a twin but neither of them knew what became of them, though their paths had diverged, they unknowingly forged lives as identical as their DNA. Both Jim's had childhood dogs named Toy, when they were schoolchildren, they both had a proclivity for math and wood working but were no great at spelling. their childhoods we very similar, though then their earlier adulthoods were remarkable.

Both Jim's had married Twice, first time they married a women named Linda. When this marriage did not work out they both divorced with Linda, they then went onto meet and in future marry a women named Betty. The Twin's, Jim Springer and Jim Lewis had a son, Which they both called James Alan. Both Jim's were heavy smokers, they drove the same Chevy (car) and had very similar jobs in security. Jim Springer worked as a deputy sheriff whereas Jim Lewis worked as a security guard. They even took vacations at the same Florida beach, Neither of them knew of these impossible incidents/Coincident about each other until Jim Lewis decided to try and get contact with his twin. In 1977, He succeeded in finding his long lost twin, through contact details in an Ohio courthouse. The pair spoke on phone and decided to meet.

Nature Similarities of the Jim Twins:
Hair colour
Eye colour and
Blood type.

Nurture Similarities of the Jim Twins:
Both Drove a Blue Chevy
Both were Heavy smokers
Had a wife named a wife named Linda, after divorcing they married a women named Betty.

Nurture plays a bigger roles in Twins because there is more similarities.
