Rock and roll has the same origin as other music styles, it is the main inspiration of blues. Past Rock and Roll artists consist of Elvis ( born 1935 died 1977 ) wanda Jackson ( born 1937 still alive and currently 88 ) Chuck ( born 1926 died 2017 ). Other important Rock and Roll hits are Jonny B Goode that was released in 1958 and Hound Dog that was released in 1952 by Big Mama Thornton that was then covered by Elvis in 1956.
