Historical Temple of Villa del Rosario: What we call Colombia and Venezuela was consolidated. The Congress of Cúcuta was created, which ended with the drafting of the first constitution.

Bagatela House in Villa del Rosario: It was the government house in 1821, it is opposite the historic temple.

The highest rains are recorded in the Catatumbo region, with volumes close to 5000 mm per year, in areas of the municipality of Tibú.

The annual number of days with rain ranges between 100 and 150 in large areas of the department. In sectors of the Zulia basin, the number of rainy days is less than 100 and towards the south, on the border with Boyacá, it can exceed 200 days, on average. 

It can even exceed 28 ° C on average, in municipalities such as Tibú and Cúcuta. The lowest temperatures are recorded along the borders with Santander, in high sectors of the municipalities of Mutiscua, Silos and Cacota.
